Great product–lousy customer service

I purchased these replacement bands with the Oster nail grooming tool. My only complaint is that the directions are unclear and very limited. A call to the customer service number provided in the literature resulted in the following comment from them: “Ma’am, we are not dog groomers. You would have to ask a professional dog groomer how to use this tool.”
After much trial and error, I have it figured out now. My formerly skittish dogs sit perfectly still as the tool hums and whirls and shortens and shapes their nails. I highly recommend it….if you can figure out how to use it on your own.

They replace the originals perfectly

Note the photo is a bit misleading as this is not the grinder unit, but actually new grinding/sanding belts. They replace the original belts perfectly. Remember to tighten the screw at the end of the drum to expand the rubber drum and hold the belt on, then happy grinding to the smell of burnt nails!

No more issue’s w/ dog nails

Love this product! With five dogs and three that will not sit still for the nail clipper , this grinder was the best purchase I have made for my dogs. After brushing and bath time, the nails are done using the grinder, no more problems and safe! Just give your dog the time to get use to the noise , I have one large shy dog that hates anything new and she was the first one to allow me to work on her nails. Cheaper than bringing the dogs to the groomer or vet’s and less stressfull. I save 55 dollars a month on this tool.

Best nail grinder that I have found.

I’ve tried others. This one is great. It has plenty of power. Be careful though. The power combined with the 100 grit band means you will remove nail fast and they will chip and splinter easily. Go easy ’til you get used to it.

Oster Replacement Grooming Bands

These bands fit my Oster Nail Grinder, but I’ve been having a hard time keeping the bands in place. They seem to slip a lot and I keep pushing them back into place. It’s hard to keep my dogs in place and try to keep the grinding band in place too.

Efficient and Great Value!

These are by far the best grinders I have used. They are very rough, so you’re able to trim your dog’s nails really fast. They also last a long time. But, I’ve had some issues with them slipping off the drum, and I have to stop the grinder and slide it back on. This only happens every once in a while, but most are made small enough that they don’t slip off. These are a great value!

works as it should

Nothing fancy, but it has a nice variable speed motor. Not as quiet as I would have liked, but the dogs got used to it very quickly. A very noise sensitive dog might not tolerate it. It does produce a lot of dust, so I may start wearing a mask, I usually clip the nails back a bit, then finish off with the grinder.
