Puppia Soft Dog Harness (Mesh) Red X-Large

I purchased this for my 60lb lab/chow thinking an x-large would fit, no questions. When it came, it was way too small. Overall the quality was exceptional, seemed like it would work very well and hold up for a while. I ended up returning it, but I would have liked to have gotten the right size which is unavailable. I wish that they would specify in the product name that this is for small dogs or even a weight max. I only took off one star because of the sizing issue since this is a really nice harness.

I would say this x-large would fit a 40-45lb dog just fine (which in my opinion, is far from x-large)

I bought this thinking it was the best thing for an 8 week old 20 lb puppy and I was right. The mesh was very soft for being brand new, he could easily move and lie down without and problem I did not worry about his throat with a collar and we had full control of him at all times. He could not get out of the harness. I really wish they made this for big dogs. I had to give our away after a couple weeks, he had outgrown it. For anyone with small dogs this is the best harness out there. I have recommended it to several people an d even showed it to our Vet who thinks it is a great product.

I’ve never liked my dog having a collar, concerned about her accidently getting choked or breaking her neck if she suddenly went after a cat or something. This harness is excellent! Sturdy, appears very comfortable for her, easy to put on.

Very good product. I ordered two, one large and one extra Large for my two dogs. They both weigh much more than the sizing chart says they will fit but the neck and chest measurements were within the range of their sizes. My 45 lb. Corgi/Terrer mix looks like its made for him, he is comfortable running with it on and has made no protests wearing it as he has with other, “strap and buckle” harnesses we tried. He uses the XL size. Our Poodle/Scottie (Scoodle) mix weighs about 38 lbs. and the Large fits perfectly even though his weight is way above the listed size.

Both dogs run freely, don’t attempt to reach it to chew or roll around trying to take them off as they have with others. A really good find and very practical for protecting their windpipes from the stresses of narrow collars. Really a bargain price too, IMO.

So far so good! My very active 9 month old terrier/dachshund is not trying to chew this harness while wearing it, unlike the previous 4 we have tried. It seems very comfortable and he likes wearing it. The only problem is although we bought the size recommended for his weight (XL) it is very loose around his neck. May have to try a size smaller in future.

I bought two of these for my dogs. They love it! You can tell these are very comfortable. I was a little confused about the sizes…and ended up purchasing a size too big. Regardless, this is a good product!

You get what the ad says good quality should last a long time. Sturdy latch and easy on and off. We bought X-LARGE and it was a little too big.

This item came highly recommended from the Purdue University veterinarian treating my dog after cataract surgery. This particular harness reduces the pull and strain on the neck of the dog, which causes increase eye pressure which can cause post-cataract dogs to lose their site. They required my dog be picked up in a harness and Puppia was the one recommended. He looks adorable in it too. All dogs can benefit from the decrease in pulling on fragile voice boxes and necks. He doesn’t mind wearing it either.
